Sydney Superyacht Marina

Sydney Superyacht Marina, formerly the NSW Government owned Rozelle Bay Superyacht Marina, has recently been privatised and acquired by Sydney Superyacht Marina Pty Ltd. The marina, built for the 2000 Olympic Games, continues to be Sydney’s premier superyacht marina, with over 300 superyachts enjoying its facilities since 1999. It is equipped with all the facilities you would expect from a world-class marina.

The Sydney Superyacht Marina team also manages the Campbells Cove berthing facility, which has earned an enviable reputation as one of the most picturesque and iconic superyacht berths in the world.

The Rozelle Bay Superyacht Marina is the largest purpose built Superyacht Marina in the Southern Hemisphere. Only minutes from the city, our facility has 24 berths stern to a floating pontoon. A chain ground system secures the yachts forward. When demand is light, alongside berthing is available. Individual mooring pens are available for tender vessels.

It is positioned within the Rozelle Bay Maritime Precinct, a world class marine facility comprising of superyacht shipyard, dry boat storage and maritime commercial operations all currently being developed.

The marina has infrastructure that allows even some of the largest superyachts to connect to abundant shorepower, sewage pump out, modern cable TV and wireless internet. Accordingly, superyacht crews are discovering that Rozelle Bay is an ideal place in which to lay up for a while and undertake that much needed maintenance Sydney can provide. In fact, many superyacht captains have been so comfortable with the secure moorings that they chose to base their yacht there while they went home to the UK, Europe or the US for extended and well earned leave, relaxed in the knowledge that their superyacht was safe and secure and being well catered for.

Sydney Superyacht Marina is now due to be radically transformed with a 7,000 square-metre marine commercial and retail redevelopment plan underway. Construction of the landmark project is due to commence in just over a year, and will cater for 24 berths for superyachts up to 70 metres – truly world-class berthing facilities.

The redevelopment of the land-based section of the marina will update and revitalise a section of the Sydney Harbour foreshore that currently has minimal facilities. The regenerated area will also be available for public use, and will provide valuable servicing arrangements for maritime users of Sydney Harbour.

Campbells Cove Circular Quay
Sydney now offers what is arguably the most picturesque and well located superyacht berthing facility in the world, nestled between the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The recently opened Campbells Cove facility, which is managed by the Rozelle Marina team, has already developed an enviable global reputation as a
high quality and unsurpassable location in which to berth. Nestled on the western side of Sydney Cove, Circular Quay, and adjacent to Australia’s top hotel, the Park Hyatt Sydney, the berth affords magnificent unbroken views of the main harbour and is about five minutes walk from the centre of Sydney. The hotel considers superyachts berthed there as ‘guests’ within their hotel during their stay and as such, provides them access to all the 5 Star services and facilities that this premier hotel has to offer.

Ideally suited for large sailing superyachts that have a rig greater than 50 metres above the waterline and are thus too tall to fit under the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Campbells Cove is the front row seat for Sydney’s famous New Year’s Eve Fireworks display.
